Independent Sales Representative
Tristar is seeking experienced, self-motivated sales professionals to join as independent contractor sales representatives.
Performance-Based Compensation
This is a commission-only independent contractor position. Compensation is derived from collected fees on claims you originate. There is no base salary, and Tristar's minimum claim size of $250,000 means each engagement is substantial.
Your Role
Identify and develop relationships with commercial and high-value residential property owners who need expert claim representation. You'll be backed by Tristar's 30+ year reputation, regulatory expertise, and claims management process.
Ideal Candidate Background
Relevant industry relationships and independent drive matter most.
Relevant Experience
Roofing sales, restoration, insurance, real estate, property management, commercial property, or construction industry experience.
Regional Relationships
A strong network of property owners and managers in Tennessee or Kentucky.

Qualify the claim opportunity
Listen for claim size, loss type, carrier status, urgency, and whether the owner needs professional representation. Tristar focuses on claims of $250,000 and above.

Introduce the owner to Tristar
Coordinate a clear handoff to Ron Osteen or the claim team so the property owner understands next steps, contingency fee structure, and what information is useful for the first review.

Let the claim team do the adjusting work
Representatives do not adjust claims unless separately licensed and authorized. Tristar’s licensed professionals handle claim evaluation, documentation, and carrier negotiation.

Earn performance-based compensation
Compensation is commission-only and tied to collected fees on originated claims, subject to the independent contractor agreement and applicable licensing rules.
